Who is Regent Homes?

A carpenter by trade, Mike Sugars started Regent Homes in 1991, because he saw a gap in the Adelaide market for quality architectural homes that combines exemplary workmanship, value for money, and meets the individual needs of each customer.

Mike’s sons Aaron and Brad have worked in various roles within the business since 2006, and have gained the knowledge and skills required to now manage the operations of the business. They have compiled a very talented, driven and close-knit team of 25 employees, who are all focused on those key pillars of quality workmanship, value for money and customer service.

As we look forward, we will always hold onto our heritage and the values that have seen us remain a strong and stable business that has achieved continued growth and success for over 30 years.

In November 2020 we were extremely humbled to be awarded the ‘SA Display Home Builder of the Year’ for our display ‘The Lightsview’ by the Housing Industry of Australia (HIA).

Since 2016 Regent Homes has entered only three display homes into the HIA award. However, amongst those three homes we have secured SA Best Display Homes of the Year twice, both in 2016 and 2020. All three of these display homes secured the title of ‘Best display home’ for their respective price bracket which was an amazing feat in itself.

With that in mind we never build our displays for the purpose of winning awards but it’s always a humbling and rewarding experience to be acknowledged as a market leader in our industry.
