Earlier this month, we officially opened the doors to our highly anticipated Oakden Display Home – and what unfolded was far more than a simple display launch. It was a celebration of craftsmanship, collaboration, and community, shared with the people who helped bring this stunning home to life.
A Night to Celebrate a Shared Vision
The evening of the Grand Opening brought together a vibrant mix of trades, suppliers, industry partners, and staff – all of whom have played a part in the creation of Oakden. From initial sketches to final styling, this display home reflects the best of what we do when we build together.
With the front façade bathed in golden light and anticipation buzzing in the air, Regent Homes Directors Brad and Aaron Sugars officially cut the ribbon and welcomed guests inside. It was a proud, symbolic moment that honoured the months of work, creativity, and passion poured into this build.
Once inside, the home came alive – not just through design, but through atmosphere. Branded Regent cocktails flowed, guests enjoyed delicious gourmet chips and burgers, and conversation echoed through the curved hallways and softly lit living spaces.
We were proud to present the home in partnership with Clipsal, whose generous sponsorship helped bring this project to life. Their smart home automation and newly launched Solis electrical fittings are featured throughout the home – blending technology and design in a way that feels both seamless and sophisticated.
From the beautifully curated wine wall to the layers of texture and warmth throughout, Oakden provided the perfect setting for a night of connection and celebration.
A Home That Redefines Display Living
Designed to embody modern organic living, the Oakden Display Home is a home that welcomes, surprises, and inspires.
Key features include:
– A sculptural central staircase
– Layered natural finishes and curated textures
– A dedicated dog nook and cellar-style wine display
– Skylights, curves, and considered zones throughout
– Four spacious bedrooms, including a ground-floor master retreat
Throughout the weekend, we welcomed more than 200 visitors into the home – and the feedback has been overwhelming. Many described it as one of the most thoughtful and inviting display homes they’ve ever walked through.
Raising Funds for Catherine House
At Regent Homes, our values go beyond design. We believe in building with heart – and giving back where we can.
To mark the Grand Opening, we held a fundraising raffle in support of Catherine House, an organisation providing support and safe accommodation to South Australian women experiencing homelessness.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised $2,000 – the equivalent of 13 nights of accommodation for a woman in crisis.
