St Peters Display Home : Press Release

REGENT HOMES UNVELS NEW ONE-OF-A-KIND LUXURY DISPLAY HOME IN ST PETERS

Regent Homes will open a new, luxurious four-bedroom display home in St Peters in January 2025 with an opening event, showcasing the proud South Australian design and quality they are renowned for.

In business for more than 30 years, the award-winning family-owned company is respected across Adelaide for its unique, custom home designs and top-tier on-site construction team.

The grand opening event on Friday, 31st January will raise money for local organisation, Catherine House, which supports South Australian women experiencing homelessness.

Regent Homes Director, Brad Sugars, says the experience of physically walking through a display home makes the process much easier for those wanting to visualise their own dream home.

“You can’t underestimate the power of visuals – display homes have always been a great way to show the quality of a build,” says Brad. “Being able to feel a handle or experience the ambiance a unique texture brings to a space is invaluable to our customers.”

The four-bedroom display home is stand-alone at a build cost of approximately $1.5 million turnkey, giving people an abundance of inspiration for what the Regent Homes team can achieve for them.

We’ve built this home with conscious design at the forefront,” emphasises Mr Sugars. “Utilising the latest design trends, curated materials, and collaborating with some of South Australia’s incredible design minds, it truly is a home built to inspire.

Renowned for display homes with multiple awards under their belt, Regent Homes differ from others by embracing detailed digital technology, including 3D and virtual reality experiences for clients.

Built on 850sqm of land, the new single-level home spans more than 380sqm. Its four bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged in the front half of the property. The master bedroom boasts a spacious walk-in robe and ensuite, while the other bedrooms are conveniently located near a separate bathroom and powder room.

We’ve typically showcased double storey homes as our displays,” says Mr Sugars. “This time, we wanted to demonstrate how single-storey homes can feel incredibly luxurious too. With a good floorplan and considered design choices, we’ve achieved just that.”

The back half of the property features an open living/dining area complete with fireplace, leading out to an alfresco and backyard, embodying the Australian lifestyle of indoor-outdoor connection. A study room completes the functionality of the space; almost a must for every home post-COVID.

The St Peters display home is the first publicly open home in the country to feature Clipsal by Schneider Electric’s (Clipsal) new Solis Collection. Designed in South Australia by Jim Hannon-Tan, the project’s lead designer alongside the Asia Pacific Design Lab team, Solis incorporates world-class light switch and socket designs with premium finishes, backed by Schneider Electric’s world-leading research and development.

Marcus Reilly, Residential Builder Manager at Clipsal by Schneider Electric, says, “Solis sets a new benchmark in the electrical category and partners perfectly with the exceptional architecture and residential design projects Regent Homes is known for. Using industrial ceramic, the new designs are tougher and resist dirt, fingerprints, and scratches for an optimal experience.”

The display home also incorporates advanced Clipsal Wiser technology, seamlessly integrated with solar panels to offer a sustainable and energy-efficient living experience. This innovative system empowers homeowners to manage energy consumption effortlessly from their devices, ensuring the home operates as efficiently and sustainably as possible. Designed with architectural longevity and environmental mindfulness, it’s a home built for the future.

Regent Homes is committed to sustainability throughout the building process, partnering with Cleanaway to ensure that over 90% of waste from each build is recycled.

We believe in minimising waste; it’s a part of our custom design ethos,” says Mr Sugars. “Even for this display home, we’ve re-purposed the offcuts of the natural stone used in the kitchen. We can all do our part.”

The new display home is a testament to Regent Homes’ dedication to delivering custom-built residences that cater to every lifestyle. Whether it’s a knock-down rebuild or a fresh start on vacant land, this new display home showcases the design expertise and craftsmanship Regent Homes brings to creating spaces as unique as the families who live in them.

The grand opening event for the home will be on Friday, 31st January 2025. It will be open to the public over the weekend of 1-2 February with complimentary coffee available for all visitors.

Regent Homes’ new display home is at 76 Stephen Terrace, St Peters.
