Regent Homes Would Love Your Help: 2023 Foodbank Christmas Food Drive
Regent Homes has embarked on a heartfelt mission to make a difference in the lives of their fellow South Australians this holiday season by actively participating in the Foodbank Christmas Food Drive. In a region where over 135,000 individuals, including a significant number of children, rely on food relief each month, Regent Homes recognises the urgency of the situation.
Mission and Vision:
Foodbank SA & NT was founded with a clear vision: to create a South Australia and Northern Territory where every individual has access to nutritious food. Their mission revolves around sourcing surplus food from the food and grocery industry, breathing new life into donated products, and collaborating with farmers, manufacturers, and government entities to produce essential staples. Through innovative programs, they ensure that key foods like pasta, breakfast cereals, sauces, and sausages are readily available, bridging the gap between food wastage and hunger.
One of the remarkable aspects of Foodbank SA & NT’s operations is their collaboration with various stakeholders. By working closely with the food and grocery industry, they transform surplus and donated products into valuable resources for those in need. Farmers, manufacturers, and government bodies join hands with Foodbank SA & NT, participating in innovative programs that aim to produce essential food items. This collaborative approach not only reduces food wastage but also ensures that no one in the community goes hungry.
